Hello any body can tell me i have a problem in Windows 7. I have Downloaded the recent Windows 7 updates

now in some apps and games it gets a kernel issue and simply switches off loosing all my personal setting/logon to internet sites, pain in but will browse internet without problems but get it to do something complicated like play a game and it will for a while but then simply switch off. Its not the computer its Windows 7 cos it has kernel error.
Any body can tell me the solution?
